Members doug4nu Posted September 20, 2010 Members Posted September 20, 2010 I will be staying at Big Cedar from Oct 1 thru Oct 8th I am bringing down my deckboat to do some bass fishing. From what i have researched it sounds like topwater lures are the way to go early in the morning until full sun up Any suggestions on where to head from Big Cedar?? Casting toward the shore I assume also. I have been on Table Rock before but this is the first time strictly for fishing. Thanks for any help.
ness Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Can't tell you where to head FROM Big Cedar, but while AT Big Cedar head to the Buzzard Bar and listen to Clay Self -- a real live singing cowboy and funny guy. John
T-RockJaws Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I would suggest heading into Long Creek and looking for chunk rock. Points or banks either one and yes cast toward the bank. After the top water bite goes away, try a PB&J jig with a watermelon trailer in the same areas. If you are out in the evening after dark, try a black and blue spinner bait on those chunk rock areas. Good Luck!
Fishing Buddy Don House Posted September 22, 2010 Fishing Buddy Posted September 22, 2010 Doug4You, You can run from Big Cedar to towards the DAM as well.. Fishing all of the main lake points and flats.. Just look for the boats on the points to get an ideal of where everyone is fishing.. Should be Spoons and Jigs... Good Fishing Capt. Don Capt.
