Buzz Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I'm looking forward to it. November 12th by my calendar. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

Buzz Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Yes sir opening day for C and R is a hoot. Bet I see you there again Buzz. Yes sir. I had a blast last year. It is great meeting up with a lot of OAF anglers. Not to mention the big fish that are in the river. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

ollie Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I'll be there ready to go! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
KATroutman13 Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Ah I miss those days when RR was just a short drive away. Partying with the boys on Saturday night, ending the consumption early in the evening. Up and at 'em before light. Stopping and getting a good breakfast waiting for the weather to get relatively warm. Passing Tim's and making that descent to the park. Getting out of the truck to be greated by a crisp, clean and awakening shot of winter and being the only fisherman in sight. Fishing all day, no matter how cold and really rippin' lips. Making that drive back, stopping at either the Hardee's in Cassville or the DQ in Sarcoxie. I think that RRSP is a little magical during the C & R Season. However, I now occupy my time chasing birds during the C & R season and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Last time I went it was a breakfast place that apparently loves to burn their eggs : ) <{{{><
