Dang, I made a quick one day trip yesterday to Branson and left my rods, reels and waders at home.

Nice fish!! I can't wait to get down there. I'll be on my way tomorrow afternoon. :D

It was my pleasure meeting you and your Dad at Taney. I hope the two of you had a great time in spite of the generation schedules.

Hey Bman, maybe one of these days when our paths cross at Taney we can fish together. You can teach me how to use one of those long, wimpy rods! LOL

You have shown us some great fishing the past week. Congrats!!!

Bruce, jesus you are the frigging man!!!! you are really doing well, I can't wait to get down there!!!!! To hear about the snagging of the browns makes me sick!!!! it just goes to show that there are idiots at all levels of fishing. I can't believe that guys have to stroke their egos by snagging a huge Brown trout that is trying to do it's thing. How does this make someone feel better about their fishing when they snag a fish???? I will never understand it and I have to try not to witness it because I always end up saying something to one of these dickwads and practicly get into a fight every time. Where are the authorities to curtail this practice??? I wish you could trim up your jet wash and blast them out of the river on to the parking lot that would be cool!!! Hear I go again sounding like a complaining, whining bitch, but some people make me sick and I will always confront them on it if I see it. Last year I saw a dad showing his son how to snag the fish and I had to explain to his son how much of looser his dad was for snagging the fish instead of actually trying to catch them on a pattern that they might eat or even have the skill to do it.Anyway Bruce leave some of the 10 pounders for the rest of us!!!smile.gif you are making us all very jealous!!!! great job!!!

I'll save the 10 pounders for y'all. I want to get in to hand one of those 20 pounders this year. ;):D

Yep. We were there last weekend. Nothing to brag about, but enough to keep it fun. My son and I took my daughter and her boyfriend out Saturday, so we played guide for the morning drifting bait from Fall Creek to Lilley's. Nothing to brag about, but enough stockers to keep it fun. Great for my daughter, for numbers she kicked everybody's butt!

I'll be back in two weeks so the Gator is lurking in Phil's parking lot waiting for me. I know I won't do anything like you have this week, but I hope I can get a couple "picture" fish anyway.

My pleasure, as well. We had a blast. We fished Taney when the water was right and we fished the Norfork and the White when it wasn't right. All in all, it was a great trip.
