Anybody Catching Crappie?

Was bass fishing today and fishing was going pretty well, untill I saw a crappie follow my lure in. After that I couldn't help myself and tied on some baits that would catch them. I hardly ever just go out looking for crappie, but it sure is fun catching them sometimes.

Well, since you asked, Kdan and I caught 30 keepers Sat. afternoon in less than 2 hours. Most were 10 to 10.5 inches and the perfect, fry em up crisp size. We were fishing the big niangua arm of loz in 8 to 20 foot of water over brush. The depth did not seem as important as the brush. A fish fry is in order for sunday afternoon.
