Columbus Day Weekend

Gents (and ladies), my first post to this great website. I wish I would have found it earlier. Anyway, I fished Saturday and Sunday and for the first time I hammered them. Caught all of them in zone three across from the swimming pool parking lot on a spin caster, 2lb test, size 14 circle hooks, a single bb shot, and live worm. I was bouncing the worm on the bottom and getting very light hits...some can't be described at hits, more like dead weight. I only caught two of decent size, but everyone I talked to was catching small ones. I did set a new personnel best for the park...I nailed a five inch trout . I also took my eight year old daughter for the first time and she caught four over the weekend. So I hope "hooked" a new fishing partner.
