Tippet Make-up

Murdoc,

I do about 95% of my fishing under the cover of darkness, so I just use a 9-foot long 6# strand of mono. It's cheaper than the leader/tippet materials, and I've received no complaints thus far.

I wouldn't recommend this for day fishing, though.

Hello murdoc,

I use an old, but you may want to try a new one, orvis braided leader and tie 6lb mono to the end of that. but all of my taney time is at night.

you wouldn't happen to be from the halltown area?
