My firend and i went up to fellows we started on west side nothing at all he was throwing a cotten cordell super spot, i was throwing a jackall aragon ssr and nothing was biting. We went below the picnic area near the marina. i changed to a rick clunn wakebait phantom red craw, just casting it out then slowly reeling it in. The bass came up to bit it and i pulled to early. I casted it back out near the spot and he came up and i hooked him. it was my first bass on a topwater lure. My firend was throwing a rapala shad rap and he thought he got snagged so he didn't even try to set the hook. When he got it near the shore he was trying to grab it, but it got off the hook and swam off. i would add the pic but i don't know how to i have it saved on my phone.
