lonkm
I fished Hogan Creek area yesterday. The point at Barn Cove. I marked all kinds of fish, hundreds of them They just wouldn't bite. They were from 10 ft to 36 ft deep. I talked to some other fisherman and the were trolling cranks. They were having poor results too. I started out pulling my favorite cranks and didn't get a bite. I tried jigs with no results. Then I went to bottom bouncers with a slow death hook. Caught 2 shorts, a bluegill, then about an hour before dark a 22 1/4 inch eye. Of course it was on my last night crawler. LOL The clouds had started moving in. I think this was one of the factors that started them feeding too. I haven't seen any crappie either. Haven't talked to any one who has either. Don't know where they have gone. Huge clouds of bait every where. Going to get more worms next time!!!!
