Members Sunfish45 Posted November 3, 2010 Members Posted November 3, 2010 I am new to the forum, but I have been fishing Branson and the White River below Bull Shoales the past few years. I grew up in KCMO but moved to Florida and then Houston Texas. The Branson area works well for me, because there is lots for my non-fishing wife to do. I fish both fresh water and salt water here in Texas. When traveling, I always try to work in at least one day fishing. I would like to spend more time exploring the streams of Missouri and Arkansas. I tried to update my profile, but I was not able to do that?....Ralph

gotmuddy Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Welcome to the forum. I too love the brakish waters of the texas gulf coast. I am looking forward to going down to seargeants new years to fish for some reds everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

I am looking forward to going down to seargeants new years to fish for some reds I believe the fishing for Speckle Trout and Redfish slows at that time of year, especially if it is cold. Last year we had major fish kills in that area, due to low temperatures....Ralph
