Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 6, 2006 Root Admin Posted July 6, 2006 Well, you get the right one and you get a light show every 15 minutes outside your balcony.
tippet7 Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Tell me your kinding. 750,000? From my understanding...one went for 1 million reasons not to buy. You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
Danoinark Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I was talking to a friend who has a friend that is a relator in Branson, and she was telling me this older couple bought one of the smaller ones for 550 K. And they don't plan to use it except a few months out of the year. I was floored...Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Wayne SW/MO Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Yeah, I was going to call crappiefisherman a cheapskate at 750K. I think the problems are just beginning, this is contrary to the original concept, but I have to admit its well within the trend. The mega shopping, the problems that conventions are sure to bring, and the list goes on. They best hope that the change that killed Rockaway doesn't kill Branson, but they can't do anything about the lakes, so our friends like Phil and Bill will survive. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
crappiefisherman Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 wayne the 750,000 one had a dumpster out side the window though,Im thinkin free trash pickup [ [

Members Champ Posted July 9, 2006 Members Posted July 9, 2006 I have to ask. What kind of problems do conventions bring?
Members SDHaze Posted July 10, 2006 Members Posted July 10, 2006 Fozzy You get what you pay for. Most of the “condos” around this area are no more than upgraded apartments. “Condo” is just the fancy word for apartments around here. The Landing prices will be sinking soon HA HA. I have heard that the Belk store and several others are already settling to the point of major construction problems. I do not know this for fact, but it’s hard to believe there aren’t some problems when there is about seventeen feet of fill under them. I know that some settling is normal, but if it is true what I have heard, normal settling does not cause rocks, bricks, ect.. to fall off of walls. Any thoughts or facts.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 10, 2006 Root Admin Posted July 10, 2006 I took my first stroll Saturday evening. BPS is awesome. Can't believe they found that much old stuff. I'd love to have some of the old pics, although I know they are reproductions of the river back in the day. The flock of landing ducks is cool. The prices in the fly shop are high of course but the flies aren't... but selection is not good for Taney. They have the normal "trout flies" but few midges or scuds. But I bet they will get some soon. The mall is cool but not ultra trendy like I though. The concert area is nice. But again, you can't see the lake except at that point unless you're eating. I thought about making a bill board and mounting it on a pontoon and sitting out in front of the fountain during a concert. Don't laugh- I bet someone does it real soon. Of course my bill board will have Ozarkanglers.com on it.
