Crappie Fishing Report

Made it out to Pomme for a few hours Wednesday afternoon. Here's the scoop:

Weather: Horrible, cold, rain and wind

Water Temp: 52

Fishing: Excellent, excellent, did I mention excellent. Not a boat in sight, not even one at the ramp, guess too many deer hunters or just sane people who didn't want to be cold and miserable. Started fishing standing timber in 10-20 fow water, caught fish 4-8 down. Moved to a channel edge, with the water down the channel is on the bank, caught fish right on the bank.

Used jigs, color didn't matter. The bite was lite but the quality was great. Fishing 2 1/2 hrs and two of us had 40 pretty good fish.

You must have been up Lin cause I didn't see any boats in the Pom on Wed.

Lindly is where we were at. Put in at Nemo and stayed within a couple of miles.
