rcguy Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 JDC, I'm a slow learner. Actually I have nice pheasant tail nymphs in my box but have not done well on them...probably because I don't tie one on much! I need to try them more. I've been hooked on midges the last couple of years. I need to use a PT and Midge dropper...OMG the deadly duo!
rcguy Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Just for the heck of it I took some pics of myself fishing in zone 3. Trying out my new little 14 mp camera. I set the camera on the bank and then ran out in the stream!! Felt like an idiot but no one was around. I imagine the Trout had a good laugh!

Trout Commander Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Definitely a good picture. I wish mine had a setting to take multiple pictures on a timer or something. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack

I've got a whole row of various colors in my box that I got from some guy the last time I was at Bennett. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. Murdoc Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I like the picture! Sometimes you have to act silly to do something good! Keep taking them and posting them. I do the same thing! I'll be up at Bennett on the 11th. Look out fish!! Have you seen any big boys in the river?? Smiles are free http://rdpflyrods.com/
rcguy Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 There is a nice 4 lber or so up in zone 1 hanging out in front in the handicap ramp. I'm sure there is more!
