Wanted: Used Fly Rod For 8 Year Old

My eight year old daughter loves to practice with my fly rod in the back yard. I'm looking for an old, but loved rod and reel that someone can let go for little to nothing. I'm also into wood working so I can trade for a piece. I specialize in military pieces..flag boxes, challenge coin holders, etc, but can do boxes, shelves, etc.
