Did it have paying customers on it or were they just testing the waters?... not that you can tell one way or the other.

I haven't heard anything about it. They didn't allow ducks before because the lake isn't wide enough there.

The ducks are called "Ozark Mtn Water Ducks', they are not affiliated with Ride the Ducks owned by Herschand Family Entertainment. They are located on 248 and have various entertainers on the boat doing shows. I saw them on Sunday and am not thrilled that they are there, but am told that their route will take them no further than the Landing.

Yes,it was full with tour guide aboard.

Maybe down by scotty's that's the way they were headed. It went down about to the end of the landing and turned around.I went on I was just shocked when I seen it.After the post earlier this year.

Yes i saw the boat around Scottys heading under the last bridge going towards branson landing area (under the bridge) over the 4th....i was wondering the same thing what are they doing here?

Yes, they are putting in at the ramp by Scotty's in the campground. Not sure how long they will last. The couple of times that I have seen them, there has only been between 2 and 6 passengers on board.

I have not seen them go above the 65 bridge. Mostly hang around the Landing. Like we need more congestion there.

One of the things I always liked about Taney

was it seemed to be a "FISHING" lake...

not a recreational lake.

Seems like that's changing.

Sad but true.

Lately, we're seeing jet ski's, paddle boats,

kayak's, and now "Duck's".

I'm thinking about getting me an old PT boat from WWII

that still has the torpedos along the side.

I figure if we sink a few of 'em as they leave the harbor,

we can turn the tide quick!

heee-heeee

(Please, no hate mail...I'm, of course, joking!)

I agree loo10, but Branson used to be a unique family entertainment destination, now its rapidly turning into a giant shopping center.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
