2010 Humminbird 788ci Combo w/internal gps

Quadrabeam Plus Transducer/transom mount

I bought this unit new in October, 2010. I purchased the Quadrabeam Plus transducer separately. I have used it 4 days total. 3 on Beaver and 1 on Tenkiller in Oklahoma where I live. The unit works excellent and is in excellent condition, I am only selling because I want to get one of the new Side Imaging units before spring. I have the boxes and manuals. I will remove the unit from boat when someone wants it. $540.00

Here is the info on it. It comes with the Humminbird Contour XD map, but IMO you are better off to buy a map card if you like a lot of detail. I bought the Navionics Hotmaps card with 14,000 lakes on it. The HD maps for Beaver for instance, are awesome. I am keeping my map card to use in my next one though. If you search around on the net you can find one pretty reasonable, just make sure it has your preferred lake or lakes on it. I don't have the manual with me right now, but I believe there are 8 or 9 screen settings. It has just about everything you could want, except I now want the Side Imaging. I called Humminbird before I put this up for sale, because I wanted to know if there was just a update I could download to get Side Imaging. They told me my model was not compatible for Side Imaging, but that it should have all the latest updates on it already. It has 2 card slots. The info below says Quadrabeam is optional, but that is why I bought it myself instead of ordering the unit with the standard transducer. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask. Hope this helps.

Quadrabeam Plus Sonar

For a full, 90˚ uninterrupted coverage of fish, bottom and structure, turn to Humminbird QuadraBeam PLUS Sonar. It uses two fan-shaped, 35˚ side- and down-looking sonar beams, a precision down-looking 20˚ beam and a wide, fish-seeking 60˚ sonar beam to help you pinpoint fish and structure. QuadraBeam PLUS Sonar can even tell where to cast, by showing if fish are to the left, right or directly beneath your boat!

Benefits

QuadraBeam PLUS technology incorporates all DualBeam PLUS™ capabilities, and provides wider coverage and directional capability to pinpoint fish and structure to left, right or directly underneath the boat. The new QuadraBeam PLUS transducer provides improved sensitivity and imaging to the sides of the boat, while the unit offers several choices for viewing this information on-screen. With QuadraBeam PLUS, you’ll get:

All DualBeam PLUS advantages of better definition and wider coverage.

Ability to distinguish whether fish and structure is below, to the left or right of the boat.

Wide 90° continuous sonar coverage (no gaps) from 4 sonar beams.

Three panel QuadraBeam view showing you down, left and right simultaneously.

Easy to understand coverage – total coverage for fish and bottom is equal to twice the depth (i.e. in 30´of water, you’re seeing an area 60’ wide).

Choices of transom, trolling motor, inside hull “puck”, portable and thru-hull mounting transducer options.

Is the mounting bracket included and will you take $500?

Yes, it does come with the mounting bracket. I sent you a PM Duck. Thanks.
