Any Ice Fishing Going On?

I was just wondering if there had been anyone out ice fishing or see anyone out there doing so? It should seem to be cold enough for a long enough amount of time to get out there, although I don't know if the ice is of good quality.

Went out Saturday or Sunday (can't remember) and there were half a dozen people at both Coot and Plover, I didn't stay long and didn't see many trout pulled out. But the ice was pretty thick, a few guys were way out on the lakes.

I might try to get out there this weekend, maybe post a report(and pics if I'm lucky and remember a camera). I'm always curious as to who decides the ice is thick enough, and if they play rock scissors paper or draw straws in determining who goes on the ice first.

I kinda wondered the same, but the guys I saw were big guys and they were sitting close to each other so I figured I would be ok.

I went ice fishing over the weekend here in St. Louis. I caught enough to fill three ice cube trays.
