Sounds like we are going to have a mountain lion season sooner than I thought. Looks like they are thicker than bears. Anybody know where I could find a Mountain Lion dog?

Nice to have that pesky "conservation" stuff off the table.

First it is not murder, Murder is something that only applies to humans.. Dont put PETA rhetoric in wildlife problems.

Like calling a firearm a weapon. It is not a weapon until used against a human.

I will no longer speak in the defense of the MDC. This is absolutely inexcusable.

I understand and agree with your frustration. I am not exactly thrilled this latest senseless killing either. I won't defend them in this instance but, I will in others. You can't discredit all of the good they have done and are doing on this one episode of idiocy.

Shall we agree once more?? Or is the honeymoon over??:lol::lol:

I call BS on this one:

From Merriam Webster Online:Weapon: something (as a club, knife or gun) used to injur defeat or destroy.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

The MDC is just about worthless on this one. They really need to define what threatened is under the wildlife code. Is seeing a mountain lion being threatened by one? It seems that is what the MDC is saying, and if that is what "threatened" is, then they might as well take the protective status off of the mountain lion.

Who needs conservation, looks like the lion are over running us. With all of the reports I am starting to feel like a Christian in a Rome arena.

Right. So you're saying the lions are the Christians in this case...

...because that's who's dying.

Maybe you should go shoot the ones in the zoo too. That would strengthen your analogy.

I just don't see any justification in either of these cases to shoot the animal. What ever happened to slowly trying to back away or making noises to scare it off? The only animal I fear in our outdoors is the two legged type.

Naa, more sporting to shoot them "in the wild".

The analogy seem to be, "Mountain Lions are Endangering Man", so they are getting shot. If they would be more nocturnal and elusive, maybe they would not end up in the crosshairs.
