Members JRay Posted February 1, 2011 Members Posted February 1, 2011 You're welcome! Its a lot easier to bust with an extra guy weighing down the front. Its not as hard on a prop as it sounds.....but it doesn't sound pretty.

Guest csfishinfool Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 What patterns are effective in the winter on Spfd Lake? Rattle traps ripped across cover, jerk baits with long pauses along the bluff. Also slow rolled spinnerbaits
Members jfeola Posted February 18, 2011 Members Posted February 18, 2011 I have an outboard and was able to make it past the river ice. Only got to fish for 2 hrs or so in the afternoon, but caught a 4 lber and a buck bass then broke off the spinnerbait that was getting all the bites on another 3-4lb fish. Lost a small one on a crank. Beautiful day out. My temp gauge is broke, but another guy said he found 61 degree water on the shallow windy side??? It felt warm, but had no idea it was that warm. Anyways, that was where I caught all my fish. Tight lines. Where is considered the "shallow windy side?" Up on the dam or at the marina? Bluff side or power plant?
