mic Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I was making a black and yellow crackleback and was just finishing up with the dry hackle and the hackle broke. Trying to figure out what to do, I tied a partridge feather for a new wet fly. I don't know if it will work, but sure looks fishy.
Trout Commander Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Pics or it didn't happen. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
trout fanatic Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Nice save. I love the crackleback but pahtridge and orange/yellow are sexy little creatures!
mic Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 Pics or it didn't happen. I tried to get a better pic. You really can't see the yellow, but here you go. I also finished my first small spinner #18. I got it on the fourth try. if you click the pic, you can see it better.
flytyer57 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Doesn't anybody have a photo editor to reduce the size of the pics they post here? I'm sorry, I can't afford one of them 6 foot wide screen monitors. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

flytyer57 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I've tried, but I can't figure out how with the software I have. Most software has a "Resize" button that will allow you to rersize in pixels, inches or centimeters. Then you have to save it. What program are you using? There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Buzz Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I use Microsoft Paint. Super easy and fast. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
