Members bottombeater Posted February 4, 2011 Members Posted February 4, 2011 Hello, everyone. With the weather we have had lately, I have been playing on the net alot, which led me to stumble on to this site. I have enjoyed reading alot of the posts and have already learned alot. I am a waterfowler first and spend most of the fall and winter chasing ducks and geese. I also founded and run a local Delta Waterfowl Chapter, where my main mission is to get as many kids excited about the outdoors as possible. We put on several events a year including our Youth Education Day, where we introduce kids to hunting, fishing and shooting sports. I also have a 2 year old yellow lab named "Zingo", after Mozingo Lake in Maryville, that I run in Field Trials/Hunt Tests. When I don't have ducks on the brain, I am usually camping and fishing with my 4 year old daughter and wife. When I actually want to enjoy fishing I leave them at home. I mostly fish farm ponds locally but make a couple trips every year to the Bennet Springs/Niangua River area as well as the Current or Huzzah. I usually make a point to stop and fish somewhere on the way to or from a trial or test that I am running my dog in, so you never know where I will end up. Enough rambling, I hope to continue to soak up some of the amazing fishing knowledge that I have already read off of this forum, for years to come. And I hope that I will have something constructive to add to party. Thanks.
