taxidermist Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I have been looking for a really detailed map. Just keep getting a generic type of map that does not really show the shoals and the land marks. Anybody know of one?
Zack Hoyt Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 The best book I have found with such a break down is the Homewaters book put out by the Mid-South Fly Fishers. Our very own John Berry put alot of work into it. http://www.msff.org/ Also Scott Branyan has a great breakdown that you can load into your Google Maps program. Don Allenbaugh Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I have a set of 6 maps that I purchased (can't remember where) for $8.50. Each one is flat and is about 11 by 17. It is copyrighted by a Jim Priest Jr of Mountain Home. I have attached a picture of the legend for it. Don A
Hopper Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I have to agree with Zach, the Home Waters book comes with a very good map and a very discriptive breakdown of the river, plus maps and descriptions of many other rivers.
