The originial scenario happens at my "home" winter trout lake. We see the same type of guys doing the same thing. I call everytime and the agents come and hand out tickets. It is very frustrating to watch people abuse a resource that only receives limited stocking for a limited number of days. Fortunately, there are enough regulars that help "police" the area...the poacher's almost always get scared off or caught. Makes me smile every time.

Since I have started fishing out on the rivers I have not seen a single game warden. I have been out dozens of times too. White, buffalo, or eleven point.

I've seen the AFGC guys at Yellville a few times and I once got checked at Pruitt on the Bufallo by a Park Ranger.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

Game theft should not be tolerated at any level. It's taxpayers & the environment they are stealing from at the cost of future generations. Prosecution sentences should not be reduced in a court of law to those of small monetary fines or warnings. Put thieves to work cleaning litter up off the highways or cleaning up litter in our parks. Lord knows there's plenty of it.
