Justin Spencer
I did find it, and thank you. Seems like when we leave for a few days I always find money on the deck. We are fortunate to have a bunch of great people that visit us and take care of us even when we aren't around to take care of them. If it would have been missing I would have blamed it on a Grover. Trout Commander
Actually, I did not. It was a short trip, about 3 hours, and I did a lot more relaxing this time. When I first started fly fishing I decided it would be a good idea to become proficient at one technique and then move on to another, become proficient at it and so on rather than being acquainted, but not proficient, with multiple techniques for a long time. So after multiple successful trips to Taney, one to BSSP and your place each I was confident enough in my indicator nympgin abilities to move on the next technique and I had promised promised myself that I would move on to dry flies, but my order of dires had not came in the mail yet so I had a dozen EHC which I could not buy a strike on, and a single spinner of some sort that came in some variety pack. The spinner was successful, drawing 3 strikes in 5 drifts: one that came at the end of the first drift a millisecond after I lifted my line from the water to start a new drift, another on the next drift that I flat out missed and again on the 5th and final drift in which I broke my 7x off with an overly excited hook set. The next weekend I am back in Cabool I will be back down with a stocked fly box Also, sending you a pm on another subject to avoid further hijacking. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted.
