We waded in at the rocking chair, north side, about 7:30 am. The recording said 702.4 but I think it a bit higher. We waded down along the bank- I was looking for fish- didn't see many. We got down to the end of the ledge rock and the hole there and found dozens of rainbows midge and also taking small dries coming out of the grass. I tried to identify the insects- I saw 4-5 varieties, all #24 and smaller, cream, ginger, brown and gray. They looked like small winged midges. I had one take on a #26 gnat and looks at an adams #20. We caught a couple on a #20 brassie soft hackle. Zebras didn't work at all. Water rose steadily the whole time we were there till a horn blew about 9 am and it came up more. Frustrating morning.
