The best place is the Trading Post. From CC go about 5 miles west on 160. Just as you enter Greenfield it is on the right, on the corner of 160 and H highway. You might want to call first and be sure they have bait, they get hit hard this time of year. Their number is 417-637-2410. I would appreciate it if you would post your results. I will be going to that area on Tues and would like to know what they were doing for you. Good luck!!

Hey walleyefishing, I was just thinking... The National Weather Service is predicting the possibilty of some heavy rain at Stockton tonight. You might want to check the following two websites before you go in the morning;

http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ridge2/RFC_Precip/

http://waterdata.usgs.gov/mo/nwis/uv?06918460

The first one is a map of rainfall for the last 24 hours. By zooming in on the Stockton area you can get an estimate of the amount of rain they have recieved in the last 24 hours. The second one is the gauge height for Turnback Creek. It has been my experience that if the level rises to 9' or more then CC will probably be muddy.
