I just noticed this morning that the trout cam is now video instead of stills. I'm watching guys pulling in fish. SWEET.

I am not sure it is actually video. It looks like it is just still shots, but they increased the refresh rate to 2-3 time per second, so it looks like a very slow video.

I am running on a 10MB broadband ISP connection; if it were actually streaming video I should see continuous motion and not the stuttering effect.

I look in my fly box and think about what should guide my choice of the best fly: the amount/angle of sun on the water, the water temp & clarity, what bugs are hatching, what the fish might be eating, and what worked last time. Then I remember what an old man told me... " Ninety percent of what a trout eats is brown, fuzzy, about 1/2 inch long and underwater."

I saw posted on the site that it was "video" from 6a-6p for the opener only. Too bad it's not all the time!

That sucks.

Spoke too soon now its a video again, different service than yesterday.

I just checked again, and its back on. Maybe its on from bell to bell.
