I am a full time SBU student and i don't have much time to go out and figure this out myself. any help would be apreciated I'd Rather Be Fishing...
MOPanfisher Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I was at Bolivar Landing yesterday by vehicle. Talked with one person fishing off of the docks, not a bite. Water was very muddy, saw one trailer in the lot.
DChance Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I am sure it will stay muddy by this weekend??? Any chance it may clear up?
shockley32 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I'll be surprised if it clears up by the weekend. With no running water to pull it down the lake it might be dingy for a while. I'm planning on getting out tomorrow or Friday, will post a report - good or bad. Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?
MOPanfisher Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Ditto, I don't see it clearing up that quickly, especially with more precip predicted for Friday.
DChance Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Yeah didn't figure it would.....wishful thinking I guess.....have you seen how faw up the pomme the dirty water stretches?
MOPanfisher Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 It was muddy up as far as PP bridge yesterday. It was also muddy at Lightfoot park, and I suspect maybe as far as Wheatland Park but not sure. Its still clear at the dam.
Members Shad Attack Posted March 2, 2011 Author Members Posted March 2, 2011 went out there the other day in my off time. it was hard to see much further down then three inches. As for the fishing, no hits on anything. it was nice to see the water was back up though. now i'll just have to remember where all the structure was that i mapped during the draw down.
