Jack Jones Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Whenever I go to Roaring River, I take 248 and cross a body of water called Flat Creek. Off 248, there is a conservation area that appears to link to it as well. Does anyone have any information about this creek? I'd be interested in fishing it, if I knew more about what is in it and where to go. ColdWaterFshr Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Great little creek. I know the bridge you speak of. I take that way to RR as well. I've only fished there at the old steel bridge a couple times but its a pretty little creek. Haven't been there for years. Small creek smallies.
Members Bassman755 Posted March 7, 2011 Members Posted March 7, 2011 Its a great creek when the water is right! I used to float it in the summer and make a whole day out of it. We used to use a two person bass buggy that did us pretty good but there were only a few places we had to get out and walk it across the shallows. The fishing was great. They would bite on anything we threw at them. Normally we fished for bass. When it finally gets warmer I would definitely suggest it.
