shockley32 Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Not a problem - in the water!!!! Seriously - right now you can catch pretty good fish on main lake points throwing jerkbaits, however they will be moving soon. If you get in the right creeks you can catch some great fish right now on wiggle warts, square bill cranks or jigs. The upper ends of the lake will warm faster and be better earlier, you can find fish on either arm, however I prefer the Big Sac side. You can catch several fish in googer, sons creek, greaser, birch branch, mutton. All the creeks hold fish, some have better quality than others. Just get out and give it a go - good luck! Let us know how you do. Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?

Members Zac Seale Posted March 16, 2011 Members Posted March 16, 2011 I guess it depends too if you are bank fishing or boating it. Shore fishing near the CC ramp and bridge you can catch smaller largemouth, walleye, crappie, and white bass usually. Also I have had good luck at Masters shore fishing with crankbaits and tubes.

The masters area I have found to be a great area with the long shallow point right by the ramp. I caught my first Stockton walleye off that point. Soft plastics and jigs worked well in this area If you teach your kids to fish, your wife will let you go more often.....
