Went down Yesterday and fished all day. Got there a little after 8 and they were generating 32000. My buddy caught 2 walleye before noon, one was around 2# the other was a little over 7#. We also caught a dozen or so buffalo (couldn't keep them away from our lures). They shut some water off around 1 and after that the fishing really died. Caught one white and a couple more buffalo after that. It was a pretty slow day but the walleye made it worth the trip. I might go back down tomorrow.

The best time to fish is when it's raining . . . and when it's not!

Well, it looks like I was on the wrong side of the river. I got down there late, yesterday. I got there about noon and fished for about 4 hrs. Caught a 10 lb. carp on a crappie jig. That was the only fish that I seen caught on the east side, all day.

Those are some nice eyes. I didn't see anything like that caught last week when I was down so maybe a few more fish are starting to move up. Sounds like a pretty good day to me , may have to try and work it in my schedule to get back down soon and give it another go. One helluva fish fry waiting to happen right there...some Shore Lunch batter , a pan of hot oil and at least a twelver of a nice Wheat and you're set. Let me know what time , I'll bring the beer....Jeff

Went back down yesterday and got skunked (other than a bunch more carp and one stray hybrid). I didn't get down until around 3 so if it was anything like it was on Wednesday, that probably was to late in the day. I didn't really see anybody else catch much either. I am definitely ready for the water temp to warm up and get into some hybrids!

OOPS ! I had misread the header. I thought you were below Bagnell dam. That's where I was. Fishing below Bagnell has been slow, too.

Well your post made sense cause I was fishing on the west side and that is about how the fishing was the other day when I went back to Truman. I've never been down to Bagnell, but I have been wanting to one of these days.
