:yellowcard: looks like the time is finally here. went to the main lake to crappie fish on the 16th, and found that they had moved on. didn't get a bite. Had to go up the rivers to shallow water and fish channel drops in 10 foot of less. fishing was good, a little slow at times, but we caught the crappie. Whites were everywhere, and I heard of an occasional walleye that someone had hooked.

The water temp up the river was 57 yesterday afternoon. water clarity was stained, but very fishable. Crappie are moving that way, and the bite should get better as we go along. you should be able to find the fish on your graphs, then just drop down to them!!

Good luck and don't forget dry clothes. Don't want anyone skinny dipping (or in some cases chunky dunking) in the lake.

Also, walleye are hitting jerkbaits, shad raps, and minnows on main lake points in and around the dam area. evening bite seems to be best, so give it a shot if you have time. great chance for big fish!!

Give me a call, 417-637-2277 if you have any questions or before you head to the lake. I will try to help you out.
