Leonard Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 WOW... was that moon AWESOME!! I hit the water about 10:30pm.. it looked as if they had just shut it off. I head to the big hole to have a little fun.. Started off with a olive/purple Hibernator and first fish was about 18inches.. This was probably the biggest fish that area.. LOL.. everything I caught there was 10-14inches after switching a few times I decided to go to white... the new M-n-M ( M-N-M: a white mink sculpin with a white Uv chenille belly and rubber legs) hooking up a few more little ones I headed up to the flats... Ran into Henry (Fly2fish) so we stood there BSing.. and catching fish.. The hook broke on my fly so Henry let me use one of his (a White Bunnie leech). The fish were for sure bigger here.. but as the night went one the lower clouds moving in on us and they started shutting off on white. I switched back to a size 6 Hibernator (Black w/ Purple & red)... caught maybe a dozen and then the moon came back out.. Pushing 2:30am we called it a night.. All in all it was a great night with the moon at its fullest and Brightest Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com
