Members fisherman wannabe Posted April 3, 2011 Members Posted April 3, 2011 My 9 year old son and I fished fellows for about 4 hrs this morning. We did not get a bite. I talked to several other boats and they all had the same results. Hopefully better fishing is coming soon. If you have had better luck, please let us know what we are doing wrong. Any help would be much appreciated by a 9 year old.

Members FullTiltAngler Posted April 4, 2011 Members Posted April 4, 2011 Fished out there early Sunday morning. Was windy as all get out but did manage to hook into a few walleye(4 to be exact). All the way down by the dam off the bank.Other than these, did not get anything else but just landing these was a blessing in those conditions.

We throw some crank baits and some jerk baits looking for bass. When bass fishing we were fishing around secondary points and then fished channels back into shallower water.
