Roaring River Veteran
Hello all, First off I want to give you a history of these dogs. I would also would like to educate a few people about labs, and tell some of the things I have learned. These puppies are not from a puppy mill. In fact The guy that ownes them has a single mommy dog whose last litter was over a year ago. She is 4 years old and this is her second litter. Make no mistake, these are not the run of the mill back yard labs. In fact and many don't know this but there are 3 different types of labs. There are americian labs, americian bench labs and english labs. In fact it has been considered in recent years by the AKC to split the Lab breed. The americian lab and american bench labs are taller lanky with narrower heads and long noses and usually high energy. The english (show) lab is a short, square, short tail stocky lab. They are calmer and typically easier to train because than the americian and american bench labs have a tendency to be hard headed. A few years ago I was in the market for a dog and I ended up with a Show quality Chocolate Male. He is out of great bloodlines. He is also incredibly smart and a great hunter. Here is his web site. tugboat I bread him to an equally nice female. As a fee I kept a Show Quality female. I put a friend on the papers as a co-owner and she stays at his house. She is a very nice dog and is also very smart and a good hunter. He bread her to a very nice male out of Massachuttes with lots of titles. here is a link to his website. topper He has 7 puppies. 3 males and 4 females. 2 of the males are chocolate and all other puppies are black. He is asking $500 dollars a piece. If he were a better known kennel or in a big city these dogs would bring a $1000 a piece easy. I do have some picture but I haven't got them off the camera yet. If you are interested let me know and I can send the pictures. puppies are like fishing equipment, you get what you pay for. CaptainT16
Of course you would have to have puppies right before our first little one is about ready to be born! I have been trying to get my wife to let me get a lab, but lately it's been a no go. With the little one due Sept 4th and our other dog, she thinks the house will be a "Zoo"! I don't know, but if something changes, I would love to snag one of them up. Kansas Fly Fisher
My wife would KILL me if I brought another dog home. But a good lab might be worth it. Better not thought I'm pretty fond of this world. I'll pass the word to my hunting buddies in case anyone is looking. Maybe they'll buy and I can hunt with them. gonefishin
Nah. Go for it. I don't think she wouldn't kill you. Besides it is always easier to get forgiven than it is to get permission. I'll pass the word to my hunting buddies in case anyone is looking. Maybe they'll buy and I can hunt with them. I would rather be fishin'. Kansas Fly Fisher
You don't understand we have 1 Lab already; the american breed, 1 Brittany, 1 German Shepard and these are the outside dogs. On the inside we have 1 Minpin and 1 Chahuahua. A small zoo to say the least. Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
