Wayne SW/MO Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 You're right Creek wader, they were stocked for food and people ate them, but not that many because less bony fish were plentiful. There's a restaurant in Omaha that specializes in carp sandwiches, and it's been there for year's. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Andy & JoAnne Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Nice fish, I've been wanting to convert over to carp myself. The bass haven't been biting on the little creek lately. I know this, because I waded right past a 2# brownie after fishing this spot for an hour. Man, I sure would like to know a little more about the marabou jig. I tie my own jigs in my spare time. Does color make a big difference? loud and bright or natural colors? I've built some rods in the past and there's nothing like using your own creation to catch trophy fish. Good job I know you make some killer jigs. I will be down this summer. Can you make me a couple more?
