Got to take my nephews, 17 and 11 fishing at the park yesterday. The river was in great shape and the overall size of the fish were good. We all fished with flyrods and did well. The 11 year old, for the first time, caught his limit, with three of them being on the flyrod. The 17 year old did well with 15 fish to hand, and I lost count around 40. The fish bit well on just about everything we threw at them from topwater to articulated streamers. Caddis flies worked great for a while till the wind got too strong. Any kind of bead head in many different sizes caught fish, and streamers worked great first thing in the morning. Took the kids up to Tim's Fly Shop and he gave them the heads up on the best working flies. The boys stocked up on a few and we headed back down for some more action. The boys really injoyed the second half, Tim...Thanks!

Sounds like a great day. I really enjoy the dry fly fishing down there.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
