Louisana Fishing

Will be taking a small trip to New Orleans at the end of the month (April) for Jazz Fest. While we are there I would like to fish one day if it works out. Don't know if we should lake fish or fish gulf for Reds. I hear reds can be hard to find and with just one day it might be a waste of time. Any information on guides to contact would be greatly appreciated.
