Members tcollier Posted April 9, 2011 Members Posted April 9, 2011 Went out yesterday uptoward Aldridge and fished from about 1pm to 5pm limited out in that time. Everyone around was catching in about 7 ft. of water at 3-4 ft deep with cork and minnows. Great day to fish limited wind and great sun. they seem to hit better when the sun was shining and not cloud covered. Looks like that are getting ready to spawn.
Huckfinn Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Did any of your limit have any good size to them or were they all 10 in. Just wandering . Good job Huck

Huckfinn Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 What is culled them mean Im clueless on that term. oh boy you got in a good mess of fish then not a good job but a great job at that !!! Huck
straw hat Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Culling is when you remove a smaller fish from your livewell or stringer and replace it with a larger fish. I have been told that it is illegal in the state of Missouri. I would also like to remind everyone that cleaning fish at the lake is illegal also. As you guys know, my wife and I bank fish a lot. We usually see several people a year get tickets for this. Say one boat get a ticket just 2 weeks ago at the launch. The idea is that once a fish is cleaned it is hard to check the length of the fish.
Members jovush Posted April 11, 2011 Members Posted April 11, 2011 I did see a number of crappie carcuses littered at the CC ramp Saturday. Sure will leave a pleasant aroma for the rest. BTW- the person that left them must have fished out my spots........I didn't catch a thing except for grabbing the minnows out the bucket.
