Hunter91 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I have been out all weekend with my 15 yr old daughter trying to bag a turkey. We just could not seal the deal. We did see several and she enjoyed it though. Her 19 yr old brother was in from college this weekend and accompanied us this morning. As an afterthought we threw a few rods in the truck to try some creek fishing after hunting. The fishing was excellent. Fished upper Sons Creek and caught 15 whites and several small largemouth in an hour and a half. The water was a little muddy but we had an excellent time. Fish were caught on orange roostertail and swimmin minnows. Sometimes its nice to get off the deck of the bass boat and just walk the banks and fish :-)
