Brown Branch Springs?

I was looking at the heading of the thread a few days ago and noticed brown branch springs being listed on there. I checked google, the only place that I could find that mentioned it was this site. Does Brown Branch Springs exist, or is this a typo? I'm just curious because if there is a brown branch springs then I would be curious as to info.

You know all kidding aside, that little stream dried up for about 5 months 2 years ago, I walked it and fished

Where is it at, if you don't mind me asking. It's just that I've never heard of it and it seems google hasn't either

Had some time to kill today at work... I found Brown Branch Stream, it's in North Springfield. It's the stream that dumps into Valley Water Mill Lake.

2799 E. Farm Road 102 Springfield MO - punch this address into google earth or google maps, and the stream is just north of the houses there.

My Delorme lists a Brownbranch, MO between Forsyth & Ava...its at the junction of Beaver & Caney Fork Creek....never been there but keep chasing Starlight Creek. Cheers.

Yeah Brownbranch is on the Beaver about 7 miles upstream from Bradleyville. My dad is from Brownbranch, I grew up fishing that whole area, no trout there.

Well I guess at one point there must have been some trout there, or at least it seems that way. I think that this summer I might spend an hour or two on this stream, maybe snap a few photos and fish. It would be sad to see a stream die like Tim suggested.
