I think that this summer I might spend an hour or two on this stream, maybe snap a few photos and fish. It would be sad to see a stream die like Tim suggested. I haven't been to Brownbranch proper in a couple years, but I'd say Caney Branch is intermittent at best. As for the Beaver, you won't be disappointed, it's a great stretch of creek and very scenic. There is an outfitter in Brownbranch. But I would suggest going to any of the several slabs (low water crossings) in the general area and wading.
