in need of help. have crappie tournment saturday out of mutton creek. have a old freind coming in to fish with me and has been a long time since we fished together. went last weekend. saturday caught 14 and sunday caught 17. keep seeing all on form catching limits within 4 hours. worried about weather turning cold and don't have a clue of what to do and where to go. would really like to be able to catch some crappie with old buddy. i have told him it has been really good and he is looking forward to catching and have fun like we use to. ANY HELP AND INFOR WOULD BE GREATLY APPERCITAED. i have been using jigs mainly white blue white and some green black green. been in brich branch and half way to cc. beeing hearing a lot about cc area but only been there many moons ago. again any help would be apprectated

The only thing I could suggest is 4-8 foot of water and all my keeper today were in 64 degree plus water......

That drop in temps will probably make some of the spawners drop back to deeper water near the beds, say 14 to 20 ft deep. The sunny south facing pea gravel banks will be affected less. As far as a place to go... well good luck. The wife and I went last Saturday and spent 3 hours driving around to different places we often fish (checked out 8 locations). There were people on everyone of them so we wound up going home, $20 less gas money in the wallet as well. Good luck.
