Not quite what I expected from you Cricket...Cage the Elephant is one of my current favorites.

Yeah, I've been really digging his lyricism... "My tongue has now become a platform for your lies"... Ever feel that way? lol

Ya just never know what to expect from me, for sure... Like Justins Warren G quote above.. (my dawg!! What up?!?)

Tupac

Wow, might be an ozarkanglers record here, Tupac. Used to listen to him all the time when I was in high school through early college. I can't say that I listen to him to go fishing though.

I think I've lost my faith in modern music. I think that my newer CD's are about 15 years old. Neil Young is a big favorite of mine, although I can't profess to really love his new stuff(go figure, the stuff that wins him a grammy). Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Cream, Rolling Stones. . .

Gordon Lightfoot when I'm feeling real mellow, or some Grateful Dead. :high: Peter Gabriel when I'm pensive. :that-dood-is-up-to-something: Springsteen when I'm feeling pissed at the government. :yuush: Or finally, some Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Nightwish, Children of Bodom, Dream Theater, or any European Power Metal when I'm just ragin'...... :eyes-on-fire:

Like the fishing....it changes with the day, LOL

We had Big Smith here at Sunburst last year, what a perfect setting for them on the banks of the North Fork, we will have them back!

led zeppelin, pink floyd, jimi hendrix, cream, james gang, steely dan....

I'd have thought you were older than you are by that response.

But then again, there is no music better than from that era.

There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.

I can't believe nobody mentioned the great Gospel Music by the Gaithers....or the unimitable Bluegrass of Doyle Lawson!!!!

Where have you guys(and gals) been?

It's a wide variety for me. Led Zeppelin is my all-time favorite band, and you can't go wrong there-although listening to Jimmy Page play the guitar for two straight hours can mess up the relaxed pace of fly fishing a little. Also the Styx, Doobie Brother, Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and a million more. I also find myself listening to Johnny Cash quite often on the way to the stream. Nothing like the Fulsome Prison Blues to get you into the mood for fishing.............

I am in general not that into the new stuff-with exceptions, Shinedown being a major one.
