I know your a crappie expert :have-a-nice-day: I was wondering if you would help a guy out bringing a couple of kids crappie fishing out with a couple locations to just get their lines stretched not super exact but just some areas to start. I am going to be around ruark/ mutton but could go up to cedar ridge if that was your suggestion. I would be happy to talk in private so as not to divulge the secrets you give out so kindly

No one here, not listening, (fingers in ears saying, blah, blah, blah) go ahead divulge that secret honey-hole in complete privacy here. Ü any tips to get a leg up on those darn elusive crappie will be deeply appreciated!!!

If you don't hear from Huck, get a hold of Bob Bennett (Stockton Lake Guide Service). I guarantee he can tell you where they are at, what depth, lures/bait, etc.

I talked to Bob today, really tough out there for crappie, at least for us. Bass were okay but this wind and fronts are jackin' with us.

The wife wants to go to Springfield tomorrow......might just sleep in and do that.

Bob

My fishing buddy and I are bass fisherman, we know little about catching crappie. his apprentice likes crappie fishing, but he is from minnesota. So we agreed to take him and his wife and daughter out fishing, we are also taking my fishing buddies daughter and son out. We are fishing from 2 boats so we are pretty flexible as to location just need some hints on what to throw and where to throw them. Minnows jigs worms just something to get lines stretched. Thank You for all your help in advanced. thanks TRanger Timmy

Here I am to save the day!!!! Im back on the computer sorry guys Ive been really busy, cutting fish and grass. Well Ranger sorry but I dont fish that far up the lake. Dont know Ruark or Ceder Ridge Im down at Highpoint area But it sounds like it has been rough out there. I have'nt been fishing sense Sunday night. It has got more cooler sense then. I dont know if you guys are'nt holding your mouth the right way, or what. I just say a little prayer before I start fishing EVERY TIME I fish!!! Simple really, Lord please take my bobber under today Lord. And then it happens it goes under just like that. It helps ALOT to have the Lord all mighty on your side, He is the one who sends the fish your way, So say a little prayer before you streach your line. And play with your Depth a little I was hitting like crazy at 4 ft, then they stopped and then I moved it a foot at a time deeper and ran into them again. Have'nt used any jigs yet, maybe later, If a guy thinks he has got it all figured out on them crappie he is an IDOT... Huck
