It turned out to be a great Good Friday on Stockton Lake. Put in at mutton at 8 am and ran to the back of greasers and caught no bass but once you get to the back of Greaser it takes a BIG bind to the right. Don't turn go str8 until you hit the flooded bushes. I had 11 crappie in 10 minutes on a big spinner bait. The dam cranes was pulling big 13 inch crappie out of the bushes left and right. But that's for you crappie guys. Water temps was 58 degree.

I then ran out of Greaser at 65mph in my Ranger 519vs to a cpl other holes. Let me tell you all this. In 3 hours I caught 47 large mouths and only 4 was keepers but guys I caught 4 keepers on a spinner bait. 1 was a little over 8 lbs and it is safe to say I have never caught a bass that has fought harder than what she did. She hit me like a train. Matter of fact the whole thing would of made funnest home videos final cause I feel 2 times before I landed in the water. Good thing I was in 2 foot of water huh.

Water was clear and 58 degree. My 47 14 to 14 3/4 inch fish came on a carolina rig lizard. They nailed the lizard and it didn't matter what color. It was a lot of fun. I left at noon and had a blast. I hope you find this information helpful. I know I did not give locations of my bass but I did for you crappie guys. They are in the buck brush. Hell just stop and watch the cranes eat the fish out of the bushes. Good luck everyone and wear your life vest and survive alive to fish another day.

Thanks you but my main report was to let everyone know exactly where to go catch a bunch of big crappie.

I am a crappie fisherman jamesedward so that is what made it such a good report! Now if I get feeling better and the rain slows down maybe I can get to go again. If keeps raining I may be able to fish out my back door soon. lol
