ruthead Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 What's a mowhawk leech? #10 lomg shank hook with maribou tied on top of hook in 4 seperate clumps. With the water as dirty as it was we tied black on the end with a rusty color in the front 3 clumps. Threw into the stained water and when you came into the clearer water they would hit it. Worked it slow. Almost always hit onthe fall. "Pretty soon we may not have any rights left because it might infringe on someone's rights"
ruthead Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Okay cool, thanks for the help. That's my main goal is to strip cracklebacks or whatever they are biting on. So you used a 12 foot sinking tip with an IPS rate of 5.6. Yes. If I understand right the long length helped get it down with the swift moving water.
