I use the Falcon Lowrider Shakey Head rod. It is about $150. Great rod! I would recommend anything from Falcon.

the rods I use for this technique are a basspro shops carbonlite. i think it's like 6'8" or 6'9" and the perfect action, but runs $99, although it's frequently on sale for $70, which is when I jumped on getting mine.

I've also used a berkeley Amp rod. which retails for around $40. it's quite a nice rod for the price and worked just fine, but i'm now using it to toss grubs and flukes.

I like the Falcon 6'6" BooCoo ($99.00) on a baitcaster for the shakey head. It is a versatile rod that I use for shakey head, texas rig, wiggle wart, finesse jig and/or any other bait that is 5/16 oz or lighter.

Shimano Crucial, they have serval diffrent models. Just on personal preference i like the 7 foot med. action rod. With a fast tip. Plus they have a lifetime warrenty that is in store. I think they run about $110
