Members pondboss Posted April 25, 2011 Members Posted April 25, 2011 I just wanted to say thanks to Philip Stone for our trip this weekend. My wife and I had a great time during our monsoon shortened adventure on Table Rock this weekend. He put us on fish in a short amount of time and even comped us for a future trip since we got rained out in about an hour. Not sure if that is par for the course as far as guides go, but I thought he was a total "class" guy. He was very helpful showing my wife how to operate spinning tackle properly, and was nice enough to let me out fish him. Thanks again, Matt (pondboss)
Bill Babler Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 My thoughts are you will not find a nicer guy out there than Phil. Good buddy, class act and a very good fisherman. You just posted what we all already know. It is always great to hear it. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Members pondboss Posted April 25, 2011 Author Members Posted April 25, 2011 The silver lining to all the rain clouds was getting to go to the Bass Pro outlet store on our way home and scoring some 2 Vendetta rods and BPS reel for $100. And trust me when I say that my wife will know how to use her new baitcaster by the time we come back this summer. Thanks Don, it was a really solid fish, sure didn't look that big in the water. Just got lucky she seemed to want my jig more than Phil's.
