mic Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I received this recipe via email from a fly time forum. I thought it look an awful like a version of a crackleback wetfly. I have a week at Bennett at the end of the month. I'll try them out. Buzz Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Great looking fly. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

Danoinark Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 What do you think...gold or black bead? Black tungsten, but keep a few without beads to fish the film. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
troutfiend1985 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Black tungsten, but keep a few without beads to fish the film. Dano Agreed, a black tungsten bead would be a great addition. You could make one with a yellow body, and then I would personally think a yellow body with a copper bead would be a go getter. “The greatest menace to freedom is an inert people” J. Brandeis
