Can't speak to the fishing, but here is the water levels for Jerome. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/mo/nwis/uv/?site_no=06933500&PARAmeter_cd=00065,63160,00060

Al Agnew Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Actually, the Hazelgreen gauge is closer to what you need to know...it's located at the I-44 bridge. But it's still below the Osage Fork, which doesn't have a gauge. Right now it's still flowing over 2000 cfs at Hazelgreen, and barring further rain and another rise, it will still be around 1500 cfs this coming weekend. That's high, but the way the streams I've seen are looking, it will probably be clear enough to fish, though still off color. Normal for this time of year is about 800-900 cfs at Hazelgreen. Osage Fork is probably putting about 800 cfs or so into it, if I had to guess, which leaves the Gasconade above the Osage Fork flowing 1200 cfs or so. It will still be up in the low willows at that level, so be careful if you float it. Under high water, off color conditions, for bass I'd use big stuff like tandem spinnerbaits and good sized crankbaits.

watermen Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Drove to dixon today and the river is starting to geen up. Buddy at the end of the road at nagogami has been fishing recently. The bite is ok, but the river is definitely high. I prefer a 4 inch tube and some weight when it's like this. The hole below sring creek bridge is full of little males on the nest or getting ready to nest so fishing should be good if you find them. good luck
